General Information

This web site has been in continuous operation as a not for profit site since 1990. It was setup along the guidelines that the internet is a resource that belongs to everyone and that it should be shared as much as possible. Since there are a large number of Marsh families and only a few Marsh domain names we felt that with a little extra effort we could extend these resources to other Marsh families as well.

Up until 2010 MARSH.ORG supplied the useful feature of allowing users to create there own marsh family web sites with such features as local weather,storage,photo albums, etc etc. With the success of web sites like Facebook and MySpace and the high cost of our maintenance this feature was sadly retired from the site. Today MARSH.ORG continues in its mission to share the MARSH.ORG domain name and Marsh name info with the rest of the world but on a more focused and modest scale.

On this site you can find out about the history of the Marsh name; look at and suggest web links relevant to things associated with the Marsh name; look at and add photos that are about the Marsh name and, as always, get an email address with the easy to remember format; yourname@marsh.org.
